LORDI rockten die Pro 7 Wok WM mit “The Riff” / Video online!

Letzten Samstag war es
soweit: nur einen Tag nach Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums "To Beast
Or Not To Beast" steigen die finnischen Monsterrocker LORDI nicht nur auf die Bühne, um ihre neue Single „The Riff“ vorzustellen: im Rahmen der Pro 7 Wok WM wagte sich „Team Lordi“ auch persönlich in den Eiskanal, um im 4er-Wok für Finnland anzutreten.

Und so cool die Monster diese Herausforderung auch annahmen;
auf der Bühne entfesselten Mr. Lordi & Co. einen wahren Feuer- und
Pyroregen.

GAMA BOMB enthüllen “The Terror Tapes” Tracklist und Cover!

Am 19. April lassen es die irischen Thrasher GAMA BOMB krachen; mit neuem Album “The Terror Tapes” meldet sich die Truppe schlagkräftig zurück.
Das Coverartwork wurde vom bekannten Künstler Graham Humphreys
erstellt, der zuvor schon Illustrationen für Kultfilme wie A Nightmare
On Elm Street und Evil Dead beigetragen hat.

“Wir sind noch mit den VHS Covern von Graham aufgewachsen,
aber seinen Namen kannten wir nicht,” sagt Sänger Philly Byrne. “Aber
wir konnten ihn ausfindig machen, er nahm sich die Zeit, unsere Ideen
anzuhören und nun blicken wir auf ein von ihm gemaltes, großartiges
Cover für unser neues GAMA BOMB Album. Ein Traum wurde wahr!“
"Das Cover zeigt einen Mann, der einen riesigen, lebenden
Tape-Maschine zum Opfer fällt. Ich finde, es erinnert an alte 1980er
Videohüllen. Das passt großartig zu unserer Liebe für alte Technik und

LORDI: live appearance on German TV - Pro 7 Wok racing championships!

Last Saturday, only one day after the release of their new album "To Beast Or Not To Beast", Finnish monster rockers LORDI not only presented their new single „The Riff“ on German TV; „Team Lordi“ also competed in Pro 7’s "wok racing championships"!

And as cool as the team retained its composure in the ice
trail, their performance of “The Riff” was melting snow and ice with
lots of flames and pyros.

GAMA BOMB unveils cover Art, tracklist and single from “The Terror Tapes”!

Irish thrashers GAMA BOMB have unveiled the artwork and tracklist for their forthcoming album “The Terror Tapes”.
The band’s fourth album, to be released on April 19th
in Europe and April 22nd in the UK, followed by a US release on May
7th, boasts a cover illustrated by veteran movie poster artist Graham
Humphreys who created pieces for classics A Nightmare On Elm Street and
Evil Dead.

“We grew up in terror of VHS covers painted by Graham, but we never knew his name,” says vocalist Philly Byrne. “We
found him, had the audacity to chat to him, and now it’s a dream come
true to work together and to see the astounding work he’s done for us.
“The cover shows a man being consumed by a giant, living tape
machine. It’s got the feeling of a grubby old 1980s video sleeve I
think. It ties in perfectly with our obsession with old technology and
mad horror imagery. It’s the best album cover we’ve ever had. Everyone
else’s album art sucks because of this.”

“The Terror Tapes” will be preceded by a single for the track
“Terrorscope”, available both as a completely free download on March
26th , with a vinyl release following in April.

“It was really important to us to give people some music for nothing,” says Byrne. “It’s
how we get our music and we want people to know we’re cool with them
doing that, as long as they support us. Support comes from a lot of
different places, not just the front pocket.”

GAMA BOMB have also revealed the tracklist of the album, which
will be released on AFM Records and follows the band’s 2009 album “Tales
From The Grave In Space”.

„III: Cut Loose“ wird es heißen, das dritte Album der Würzburger Heavy-Rocker THE NEW BLACK. Es erscheint am 15. März über AFM.

„III: Cut Loose“ wurde erneut von der Band selbst aufgenommen

„III: Cut Loose“ will be the title of the new album by Germany‘s heavy rockers THE NEW BLACK. It will be released on March 15th via AFM.

The album will be released in different configurations, among them a
big fat digipak with loads of bonus tracks. There‘s also talk of guest
singers, free downloads and video clips with nasty spiders and
middlefingers... Details to follow.

GOTHMINISTER: on the way to Eurovision Song Contest? / new single available!

The Norwegian lawyer Bjørn Alexander Brem and his band GOTHMINISTER are in for a possibly shockingly different show in the Norwegian EVS semifinals in Larvik, today, February 2nd
– prepare for some visual surprises with zombies and undead... the
winners of tonight's semifinal will participate in the Norwegian final
later, whose winner then will repesent Norway at this year's Eurovision
Song Contest in Malmö (Sweden).
The brand new GOTHMINISTER song "Utopia" (which will be performed by the band in the semifinal) is available nowe as digital single.

As the first release of their new collaboration, D-A-D‘s 2011 studio album „Dic.Nii.Lan.Daft.Erd.Ark“ is available from today on as an extensive „Deluxe Edition“, which comes as 2-CD in Digipak format and includes a 16-track live CD beside the regular album.

German Celtic metallers SUIDAKRA have issued another update on their upcoming new album “Eternal Defiance”.
The cover artwork (once again created by Kris Verwimp) and the album’s

Endlich ist es soweit, mit “Metal Machine“ geben U.D.O. einen ersten starken Vorgeschmack auf ihr kommendes Album „Steelhammer“ (erscheint am 24. Mai).
Der Videoclip zu „Metal Machine“ ist jetzt online, ebenso ist der Song im Rahmen des ITunes „Countdown to…“ digital erhältlich.
Diese Aktion ist auf Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz begrenzt,

Freunde des klassischen Hard Rocks dürfen sich freuen:

VOODOO CIRCLE, von Gitarrist Alex Beyrodt
