BRAINSTORM: „Firesoul“ Videoclip released!
German power metallers BRAINSTORM will release their new studio album „Firesoul” on April 4th. The video clip for the album’s title track is available now.
Guitarist Torsten Ihlenfeld comments:
„With the „Firesoul“ clip, we put our finger into the wound of hypocrisy. Before they cameras people act as bringers of peace but when the spotlight is turned off, they are campaigning for war. In the media hailed as benefactors, but in reality exploiting their own people.
That’s why we chose this "Praise the Lord and feed my pocket“-TV show scenery for the clip, because here it shows perfectly how the poorest and believing get ripped off while others benefit in a criminal way. But the message we want to give is: there is always a way out, no matter what. We all fall, but getting up again is the important.”

"Mit dem ‘Firesoul’-Clip legen wir den Finger in die Wunde der Scheinheiligkeit. Nicht nur bezogen auf die ach so bibeltreuen Schäfchen, sondern ganz generell. Vorne hui, hinten pfui; in den Medien der Wohltäter, bei den eigenen Leuten der Ausbeuter; vor den Augen der Welt der Friedensstifter, Abseits der Scheinwerfer der Kriegstreiber, Knecht des Mammon und der Wirtschaftsmächte.
Wir haben uns bewusst die "Praise the Lord and feed my pocket“-TV Shows als Szenerie ausgesucht, da hier unserer Meinung nach mit den Ärmsten und Gutgläubigsten ärgstes Schindluder getrieben wird und die Gegensätze besonders deutlich gemacht werden können. Doch wir wären nicht Brainstorm und keine würdigen Vertreter der "Feuerseelen" wenn nicht ein loderndes Feuer der Rebellion einen Lösungsweg aufzeigen würde und Euch sagen will: Egal, wie aussichtslos, es gibt IMMER einen Ausweg. EDEN'S CURSE announce new drummer & U.K. tour dates!
Eden's Curse are disappointed to announce the departure of Pete Newdeck from the band.
Pete has been the drummer of the group since it's formation in 2006 and has been a key member of the writing team during those eight years together. However he announced to the band just before Christmas that it was his intention to leave the group due to personal and family commitments as well as wishing to concentrate on Tainted Nation, whom he fronts as their vocalist, and his activities as the drummer for UK AOR act Newman.
Bassist and founding member Paul Logue comments "We are extremely disappointed to lose such a talent as Pete, but fully understand his reasons for moving on. We are very proud of what he has built with Tainted Nation and in particular for stepping out from behind the kit with such consummate ease. Without question we will all remain great friends with Pete and wish him and Tainted Nation nothing but the greatest of success for the future ahead".
Pete himself adds "This was a difficult decision to make, yet one that was made easier due to the compassion, understanding and support I was shown by the other guys in Eden's Curse. It's basically a case of having an array of commitments, some personal and some musical, that I felt I had to prioritise. I am sure the band will not see this as a setback and I wish them the continued success they deserve and to build on the acclaimed album we just released.
The bond between both parties is further demonstrated by Eden's Curse announcing that Tainted Nation will support them on several of their up and coming shows on their "Symphony Of Sin UK Tour" in May.

It is with great pleasure that Eden's Curse announces that Scotsman John Clelland (Code Of Silence) is the bands new Drummer.
Hailing from Edinburgh, John has been working with bassist Paul Logue on several album productions over the past few years, most notably the "Dark Skies Over Babylon" album by Code Of Silence, and was on obvious choice it seems. "John and I have worked together for a few years on various musical projects, especially the Code Of Silence album that I wrote and produced. I always found him a pleasure to work with. He is extremely methodical and approaches things in a very studious and professional manner. You always know when working with John that you will get absolute quality back in abundance and not just your run of the mill typical drum parts either - they are typically well thought out, crafted and executed with great precision. He is a great player and an even better person and when Pete told me that he was leaving there was only one choice in my mind. It was just a case of convincing the rest of the band what I already knew and that John would fit the ethos on what Eden's Curse stands for today" stated Paul.
John himself beamed "I'm honoured and delighted to be the new drummer in Eden's Curse and to be part of the team. I'm really excited about touring the UK with the guys in May and working on new EC material in the future. I've been told how great the Eden's Curse fans are and I'm looking forward to meeting them all. I think you will be impressed by the set of songs that the guys have selected for the bands first headline tour. I'm looking forward to forming an all Scottish solid rhythm section"!

EDEN’S CURSE müssen leider den Ausstieg von Drummer Pete Newdeck bekanntgeben. Aber in John Clelland (Code Of Silence) ist bereits ein würdiger Nachfolger gefunden. EMIL BULLS sign label deal with AFM Records!
Munich based Rockers EMIL BULLS sign a contract with AFM Records. Their first album on the new label is due this year in late Summer.
Currently the band stays in the Toolhouse Studios in Rotenburg/Fulda working on the new album with London based producer Dan Weller. “We are delighted to welcome such an innovative band like the EMIL BULLS on AFM Records", says label boss Jochen Richert. "The Emil Bulls are an enrichment to the Artist Roster of AFM Records. They have grown to an established brand in the music scene which stands for quality, passion and endurance - characteristics which also represent AFM Records’ work and show the synergies of the Bulls and us.”
Manager Niko Tsagarakis / Monster Artists also welcomes the cooperation. "We are pleased that the cooperation with AFM Records has come about and are excited about what the future holds within."
The new EMIL BULLS album will be released in August. The band will be playing several European summer festivals as well as a headliner tour starting in October 2014:

SHAKRA announce release of "Best Of" album!
Swiss hard rockers SHAKRA have disclosed their latest plans of releasing a "Best Of" album, which will be titled “33 - The Best Of” and it set to arrive on May 9th.
The double album includes 30 SHAKRA classics and 3 brand new songs.

EMIL BULLS unterzeichnen Vertrag mit AFM Records!
Die Münchner Rocker EMIL BULLS haben einen Deal bei AFM Records unterzeichnet. Ihr erstes Album für das Hamburger Label soll im Herbst erscheinen.
Die Band befindet sich derzeit in den Toolhouse Studios in Rotenburg an der Fulda, um gemeinsam mit dem Londoner Produzenten Dan Weller an den neuen Songs zu arbeiten.
„Wir freuen uns, eine so innovative Band wie die Emil Bulls bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen“, so Labelchef Jochen Richert. „Die Emil Bulls sind eine Bereicherung für das Artist-Roster von AFM Records. Sie haben sich als Indiependent-Band mit Qualität, Leidenschaft und Durchhaltevermögen zu einer fixen Größe in der Musiklandschaft etabliert - damit passen sie perfekt zu dem, was auch AFM letztendlich ausmacht und worin wir stark sind.“

Das neue Album, welches im Moment noch keinen Titel hat, wird im August veröffentlicht. Dann wird sich die Band auch auf einigen Open Airs zeigen, ab Oktober dann auf eigener Headlinertour.
