CHRIS CAFFERY - In Memory Of JOHN LENNON And DIMEBAG DARRELL


Guitarist/vocalist CHRIS CAFFERY (TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, SAVATAGE) has checked in with the following update:


"December 8th is always a bit of a sad day in music history. Not only did we lose JOHN LENNON but also DIMEBAG DARRELL. It is always so sad when people pass away unexpectedly. It is even more sad when someone decides to take their life. This time of year I think it is always more important to try to give what you can to others. Anytime of year, really, but the holidays especially. However, it always doesn't seem to happen that way unfortunately. Some feel the need to take away. Please appreciate and love the ones around you. Try to reach out to someone you may not have spoken to in a while today.

Make someone smile. John Lennon would approve. Peace!"

Currently on the road with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Caffery recently issued an update on his forthcoming solo album:

"When I get home I will be finishing a few projects... one is my new solo record. You have heard a couple tunes, there will be 10 more. I want to call it The Twisted Truth. I am looking at a September release to be safe! I am also going to finish construction of the stage in my Silver Dollar Saloon. I will be doing some live broadcasts in the Summer. No details but they will be legendary.

I am also going to start selling some of my paintings and taking a few limited requests to paint your photos... this will be probably a once a month thing. I will also continue my teaching and launch some online lessons as well.

I am definitely going to pursue some offers to produce some young metal bands, as well as continue to record guest solos if your band wants my services.

I have some offers for special guest appearances... I may do some solo dates... I am figuring that all out as time goes by."
