DIMEBAG DARRELL's Original Guitar Tech Suffers Tragic Loss Kenny King,
DIMEBAG DARRELL's original guitar tech and current guitar
tech for
Scott Shelby of
WARBEAST, suffered a tragic loss this last
weekend. His wife's, Kim King, parents' home where Kim's sister was
living with her two children, Carter, 4, and Lilly, 2, caught fire late
Saturday night.
The fire unfortunately started in Lily's bedroom where she was
sleeping. The family was unable to get to her due to the immense
flames. Later that day Lily would have turned two years old. There was a
party planned that sadly Lily never had.
The family had no insurance on their home and is currently trying to
raise enough money for her funeral. To make a donation visit this location.
Philip Anselmo: “On behalf of my family, and the entire Housecore
Records crew, I'd like to offer our greatest condolences to the Condron
family. Poor little Lilly Ann's uncle Kenny King has been a tremendous
part of my life, as well as my brothers and label mates Warbeast. This
type of horrific accident is unthinkable. But when these things happen,
the best thing to do is reach out and support the family members as
best as possible, although right now it seems such a small thing. In
truth, it is all we can do right now. I realize the family is accepting
donations to pay for funeral expenses and the re-building of their
home, so donate if you can. Our thoughts and hopes and love are with
everyone involved.”
Scott Shelby: "My heart is undoubtedly heavy as my brother, Kenny
King, his wife Kim, and their family endure the tragic loss of Kenny's
two (2) year old niece, Lilly Ann Condron. Kenny is a huge asset to
Warbeast and the DFW "metal" family. The entire Warbeast family offers
our condolences during this dark time. We are all deeply saddened by
this harrowing accident. Our love, thoughts and hearts are with them.”
