CHRIS CAFFERY Releases 'Glitter' Single; Stream / Download Available


Guitarist/vocalist CHRIS CAFFERY (TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, SAVATAGE) has issued the following update:


"OK, today is the big day! First shows of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2013-14 Winter tour. We get a bit of a jump start on the West Coast group but I want to wish all of my friends and family over there an awesome tour. I look forward to joining up with a bunch of them in Europe in January! By about 6:30 PM, EST I am sure you will see the photos and videos of the new stage show appear... even if I could describe it, I couldn't do it justice by telling you about it. You will be blown away!

The song link below is a tune I recorded a few years back. I never had the full version online and it has never been available for sale. Many of you were asking for me to release it so I figure it being a Winter Holiday song it was fitting to have it come out today. The first day of the tour. The song is about the innocence of children and how we can learn from this as adults. I feel sometimes the adult world may wanna step back and see how simple it is to be happy without all of the anger, hatred, jealousy, dishonesty and evil that seems to drive so many of the minds that directly effect all of our lives. As kids we were happy in a sand box, a pile of leaves or the snow. As adults it seems some people are not happy unless others are unhappy. Crazy and sad, but unfortunately true. Power mad freaks ruling the world with agendas that sometimes are good, but many times are aimed purely at others unhappiness. I have learned a lot working with someone like Paul. It is easy to take from people. It isn't always easy to give, but it is a lot more fulfilling.

When I was young I learned to make others happy you have to be happy. I enjoy making music. I am lucky to be posting this today before I go and perform with one of the most awesome groups of singers and musicians on the planet. I will be stepping on a stage that is totally state of the art and visually stunning. Surrounded by the greatest road crew and production staff you could possibly assemble. Top it all off with the energy we will get from seeing over 12,000 of our closest friends here in Ohio... lots to smile about. This is always a magical time of the year. I look forward to spending it living my dream and performing for all of you!
