INTRODUCING DÉ BLIND; NEW PROJECT BY OZ OSUKARU & CECILIA GHOLAMY:

Dé Blind is undoubtedly one of the
most interesting musical outfits to see the world today! This somewhat
unique duo features the nowadays pretty busy guitarist Oz Osukaru (Eye, Osukaru, Panorama) and singer Cecilia Gholamy (Skintight), a brand new beautiful talent hailing from the south of Sweden.
Right after signing an exclusive management deal with Oz and his
management label earlier this year, Cecilia also found a musical partner
in him. After bouncing a few ideas back and forth it stood pretty clear
they both were on the very same level and wanted to start a project
very far outside the box.
"To be honest with you, this is actually the collaboration I've been
looking for since... well, since I first grabbed a guitar, basically"
Oz explains. "So
I'm now about to make this thing one of my main projects from now on.
You know, after signing Cecilia for her upcoming solo career, we had a
talk and man, is she as goofy as I am or what, haha! We immediately
clicked and had the same ideas for what we wanted to do and where to
take this collaboration."
Musically, it's melodic, classic and solid rock with huge choruses, edgy
vocals and screaming guitars but visually... it's a completely
different story.
"Well, I never thought I'd grow this much as a musician… but luckily Oz found me and introduced me to this project."
says Cecilia. "First,
after hearing his ideas I thought he was a bit crazy, but that
craziness actually turned out to work really good with my restless soul.
But he sure is a twisted dude alight, haha!"

An album is being written and recorded as we speak and it will feature a more rougher side of
Oz Osukaru than what have been presented on his previous albums.
"Yup, this time I'm gonna rock"
he says. "Of course, I'm not
quitting the AOR thing, but I must say it feels great to add some extra
crunch on the amplifier for once and not having keyboards stealing the
show, haha! Oh, and another thing, there ain't too many people out there
who knows I'm also a drummer... and on the album to come, I'm actually
about to not only play the guitars but to play the drums as well! I'm
Excited!"
"And for me, Dé Blind is the place where I can tell the world what's
going on inside my head and on all the different levels of my mind."
Cecilia says. "I
get inspiration from those everyday moments that you normally let slip
away into oblivion. I just can't help but asking myself, why are you...
you? And musically, it's like taking the style that I'm used to play
with Skintight and break it down to a more melodic version of myself and
for Oz to put that match on his full on AOR gas stove and make a big
f*cking fire that you'll see all the way to Mars, haha! Well, you get
the point."
The first single "Golden Soul", will be
premiered on the Brazilian compilation CD "Imperative Music Vol. 6" in
August and later that month It will be out in all digital stores around

Also, as a side note, the first solo single by Cecilia Gholamy, "Loco Amor", will be released around the same time as well, with Oz as the producer.
