| THE MONSTERS OF ROCK CRUISE - 2014 (MIAMI, FL - MARCH 29 - APRIL 2, 2014):
"Our Cruisers joked last year about how we're gonna need a bigger boat!! Well, please welcome the NEW MSC "Divina" ... And guess what? We can now brag we have 120,000 tons of Rock!!"
For the last past three years The Monsters OF Rock has been a floating palace of Rock n Roll, like a Brigadoon of music vanishing off the coast of Florida and returning several days later with fantastic tales of metal and parties! "We Don't plan on changing any of that this year either" stressed Larry Morand - one of MOR cruise organizers. "2014 will see the Monsters Of Rock cruise move to Miami, FL and onto a brand new ship and bringing along some friends like Tesla, Ratt, Cinderella and Quiet Riot!"
The 2014 edition of this cruise will feature a Winger reuniting their original line up for a 25th Anniversary concert! Kip Winger, Paul Taylor, Rod Morgenstein and guitar wizard Reb Beach will play their debut CD in its entirety.
Probably the biggest reaction was landing a reunited Ratt for Monsters Of Rock 2014... Warren DeMartini, Bobby Blozter and Juan Crociar will be joining forces with singer Stephen Pearcy and bring their brand of Ratt n Roll music to the Caibbean!
Monsters Of Rock will be introducing a new "Icon Series" section to our cruise... With past performers like UFO, and Saxon, we felt bringing an artist that influenced or trail blazed a genre was important. This year Carl Palmer from ELP will be the feature, Carl will bring his Carl Palmer's ELP Legacy aboard to play instrumental versions of classic Emerson, Lake and Palmer tracks. Mr. Palmer will also conduct a Master Class, and feature his line of drumming artwork.
The Monsters Cruise is not all 110 DB of Rock n Roll... Our smaller lounges will be filled with acoustic performers like Mike Tramp of White Lion, John Croabi (ex- Motley Crue), Eric Martin of Mr. Big, and several others giving unique performances of their classic hits!
What would a music cruise be without hosts ... At Monsters we boast the best!
The king of that rocks Eddie Trunk ( host of That Metal Show and his own XM radio show) will be the master of ceremonies! Joining Eddie will be XM Boneyard radio host, and author of The Drunk Diet, Luc Carl! Last but not least... Dragging herself away from her radio show at "The Bone" in San Francisco will be Nikki Blakk! Three will host Concerts.. Announce our famous "Wake Up" broadcasts and MC events like the 80s prom or "You Think You can Shred".
More artist to be announced and the big on sale date announcement (pre-books have been the only thing accepted) will happen next week.
