VAN HALEN - The Studio Albums 1978-1984 Box Set "Permanently Cancelled And Will Never Be Released In The United States Although Amazon still has it listed (stating "a release date has not
yet been set for this title") the official
VAN HALEN Store says that
The
Studio Albums 1978-1984 box set has been cancelled.
Their explanation reads as follows: "On February 6th, we began
taking pre-orders for the Van Halen Box Set, which was to be released on
March 26th (per the record company, Warner Bros/Rhino). However, on Feb
10th, the record company informed us that the March 26 release date has
been canceled. At that time, they did not know if the release date was
simply being pushed back, or if the release was to be canceled
altogether. Today we received the final word from Warner Bros; the Box
Set has indeed been permanently cancelled and will never be released in
the United States."
