| NIGHT RANGER BACK IN CALIFORNIA STUDIO:] Night Ranger are already well into the making of their next studio album, due out in September-ish via Frontiers Records. Earlier this year I talked to Brad Gillis and Joel Hoekstra at NAMM, who told me the blueprint behind this record was to "...take everything that Somewhere In California was and crank it up even further..." I thought it was time for Jack Blades to weigh in on the subject. Here's what he had to say earlier today: "We are hard at work slamming out killer songs for the new record.....a few working titles: St. Bartholomew, Rollin' on, Brothers, Coming Home. If you liked Somewhere In California you're gonna love this record. KK at his usual finest, Brad and Joel are the guitar harmony Gods! And Eric.....Yea...oh Yea..... We are in Sioux Falls South Dakota right now and along with Alice Cooper, Vince Neil, Steven Percy, Tommy Thayer, Eric Singer and a slew of other people we are helping our friend Chuck Brennan open the Brennan Rock N Roll Academy that benefits the Boys and Girls Club of SD. We broke it in today and wrote a song for our new album while we were there...the first music ever penned in the place...Back to the studio in California Wednesday." Cannot wait for this one!
