HATRIOT Frontman Steve "Zetro" Souza - "If I Could Have Run EXODUS
Or I Could Have Run Other Bands, Maybe It Would Have Been A Different
Story"; Audio Interview Streaming HATRIOT frontman
Steve "Zetro"
Souza (ex-EXODUS) is featured in a new
interview with Dr. Metal of Metal Meltdown, with airs Fridays from 5 - 7
PM, EST on WRUW-FM 91.1 Cleveland, with a live stream and archives at
wruw.org.
Discussing his work ethic, he states: "I don't like the laziness of
most musicians. It's really bad. If I could have run Exodus or I could
have run other bands, maybe it would have been a different story. The
greatest thing about Hatriot is that I get to run everything, I make the
final decision. And I'm not a lazy person. I get everything done."
On leaving Exodus, Zetro says: "Mentally not in the right place at
that time. They can take no blame for that. That was me. Unfortunately
that business wasn't doing as well at that time. And working like we
were before, it was hard to jump out of a $90,000/year job to go make
$30,000 a year so that everybody was happy. Plus I had little kids at
the time, and it was just hard to do that. That's why I'm much more
dedicated now to being able to do it because my children are in the
band, everyone's older, and it's just time to do it again."

Hatriot released their debut album,
Heroes Of Origin, on January
25th in Europe, and on February 12th in North America. The album was
recorded with producer

and features guest appearances from
Testament's Chuck Billy and
MACHINE
HEAD's Phil Demmel. The band recently checked in with the following update: "Hatriots!
Hope everyone is pleased Heroes Of Origin! We truly appreciate all of
your support on iTunes, Amazon and those who could obtain it in stores
so far. News for all is we are going to be filming a music video for a
song off the album, 'And Your Children To Be Damned'!
Not getting into details too much but we need a little help. In an
open search we need two northern California Hatriot ladies between the
age of 19-26 to help us shoot our video. If you or someone you know
would be interested to fill the spot out please message our Facebook page.
The video will be shot March 10th. So if you're interested to be a part
of our video, and helping us out please message us for more details."
