HICKS BAND GATHERING PACE IN USA:
Country rockers Hicks picked up a big award at Independent Music Network Country Music Awards. They won "Favorite Country Group". Hicks is the only Swedish act that have managed to be nominated and win this prestigious award. The band started in 2011 by Miqael Persson (W.E.T, Jimi Jamison, Eclipse, Toby Hitchcock, Giant...). The first single "Mamas Kitchen" made a lot of noise on country radio and country charts 'round the world. The new single Hayride (written by Miqael Persson/Lasse Andersson, produced by Erik Martensson) is off to a flying start. Entered IMN Country Top 30 Countdown at # 2; CMR Nashville Hotdisc Top 40 @ # 7; ICoMA Country Chart @ # 6; topplistan.eu # 7. The video was shot in Stockholm in -16 C (-3 F).
