Die schwedischen "Cinematic Rocker" um Sängerin Angelica Rylin, THE MURDER OF MY SWEET, werden am 25. Mai ihr zweites Album "Bye Bye Lullaby" veröffentlichen. Die digitale Single"Unbreakable" ist aber bereits jetzt erhältlich und auch hier in voller Länge als Stream verfügbar. Zu diesem Song hat die Band auch kürzlich einen Videoclip gedreht, der in absehbarer Zeit Premiere feiern wird.

Sweden's "Cinematic Rock" sensation THE MURDER OF MY SWEET will release its highly-anticipated second album "Bye Bye Lullaby" on May 25th. The song "Unbreakable" is available as digital single already and also for streaming in entire length here. A video clip for "Unbreakable" was recently filmed and will premiere sometime soon.

AFM Records ist erfreut, die Vertragsunterzeichnung mit der U.S.-amerikanischen Metal-Band ALL HAIL THE YETI bekanntgeben zu können. Bandleader Connor Garritty (ebenfalls als Tattoo-Künstler bekannt) kommentiert:
"This is a dream come true for us. We have worked so hard to get to this point, and are very excited to be a part of the AFM family. When we started talking to them it was immediately apparent that they understood who we are and what we've been trying to do. It's been a long road for us, simply trying to stand on our own. Our record not only sums up where we've been over the past few years but more importantly, where we're going. We put all of our blood and sweat into it and it shows. Die norwegischen Melodic Metaller TRIOSPHERE geben mit "Marionette" einen Songs vom (noch) aktuellen Album "The Road Less Travelled" als offiziellen Videoclip heraus. Dieser markiert sogleich einen Neubeginn, arbeitet die Band doch nach Europatouren mit Sonata Arctica und Crimson Glory bereits an ihrem nächsten Studioalbum.

"Aus dem TRIOSPHERE-Camp können wir vermelden, dass nun der erste offizielle Videoclip zu unserem letztenAalbum "The Road Less Trvelled" fertiggestellt wurde. Unsere Songs "Driven" und "Human Condition" waren auf einigen Compilations enthalten, daher entschieden wir uns dazu, den Videoclip zu einem anderen Song zu drehen. Dieser ist der etwas andere Song auf dem Album, der aber viele Fans tief berührt hat und uns durch seine kraftvollen Emotionen und seine Atmosphäre besonders gut für eine visuelle Präsentation geeignet schien. Ich darf im Namen der Band sprechen, wenn ich sage, dass wir mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden sind. Hoffentlich finden auch alle Fans Gefallen daran. Mit der Veröffentlichung des "Marionette" Videos schließen wir aber auch die Promotionphase fürs "The Road Less Travelled" Album ab und wenden uns verstärkt dem Songwriting für unser nächstes Album zu. TRIOSPHERE release "Marionette" video clip!
Norwegian female-fronted melodic metal band TRIOSPHERE has released an official video clip for their song "Marionette". The track is taklen from the band's latest effort "The Road Less Travelled", which was unleashed two years ago.
Vocalist/bassist Ida Haukland comments:
"From the Triosphere-camp we can finally announce that we are releasing the first official video from our critically acclaimed sophomore album “The Road Less Travelled” (AFM Records). We’ve had the honor of being featured on various compilations around the world with the songs “Driven” and “Human Condition” from the album, but the choice for the first official video landed on a song on the album that we’ve considered as somewhat of a “wildcard”; a song that differs from the others, and that seems to have touched listeners in a different and exiting way. But most of all; a song with a dense, powerful emotion and atmosphere that lent itself to an exciting visual presentation. On behalf of all in the band; we are quite satisfied with the result, and hope our fans will enjoy it!
The release of this video also marks the beginning of the end of the promotion of “The Road Less Travelled”. We have been quite busy for the last months writing new material for our third album, and are intensifying the process with the plan of releasing it early 2013. Am 07. September erscheint „Live At The Hollywood Palladium", ein Mitschnitt des ausverkauften Konzertes von KORN, zum aktuellen Album „The Path Of Totality“. Die Band wird hierbei von führenden Dubstep- und Electronic-Musikproduzenten der Welt (u.a. Skrillex, Excision, Datsik, Downlink, Kill the Noise) unterstützt. Es gibt aber auch KORN-Klassiker in ursprünglichen Versionen zu hören. Das Resultat ist dann ein einzigartiger Konzertfilm, der mit seiner Kombination aus Kunst, Technologie, Emotion und Explosivität etwas komplett Neues bietet - eben typisch KORN! „Live At The Hollywood Palladium“ wird als DVD+CD-Set sowie als BluRay+CD erhältlich sein.
ELVENKING: neues Album „Era“ erscheint am 14. September!
Die italienischen Folk Power Metaller ELVENKING haben für den 14. EDEN'S CURSE befinden sich gerade in der letzten Songwriting-Phase für ihr kommendes, viertes Studioalbum, welches den Einstand des neuen Sängers Marco Sandron (PATHOSRAY, FAIRYLAND) markieren wird.
"Einen neuen Deal mit AFM zu unterschreiben war eine der leichtesten Entscheidungen für die Band“, kommentiert Bassist Paul Logue. "AFM sind seit 2007 unser Labelpartner und wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Zusammenarbeit. Erst kürzlich saßen wir zusammen und diskutierten Zukunftspläne für EDEN’S CURSE. Dabei hat sich nur erneut bestätigt, wie sehr wir alle am gleichen Strang ziehen.“ Logue fügt hinzu: „Nun mit AFM einen weltweiten Vertragspartner zu haben, anstelle von einzelnen Lizenzdeals für die jeweiligen Territorien, bedeutet für uns schon mal weniger Papierkram. Dazu kamen Band und Management überein, dass “alles unter einem Dach“ zu haben, in diesem Fall auch geschäftstechnische Vorteile mit sich bringt. Was aber nicht ausschließt, dass wir z.B. in Japan weiterhin mit unserem bisherigen Partner Spiritual Beast kooperieren werden.“
Über das Songwriting für das kommende Album sagt Logue: "Alles läuft sehr gut! Wir befinden uns schon auf der Zielgerade der Songwritingphase, werden uns aber alle nötige Zeit nehmen, um unseren Fans ein Album zu liefern, das EDEN’S CURSE-würdig ist. Wir sind total begeistert und können es gar nicht abwarten, die Aufnahmen zu beginnen.“
AFM Records zeigt sich ebenfalls enthusiastisch: “Mit EDEN’S CURSE zu arbeiten, war immer eine Freude. Die Jungs sind echte Überzeugungstäter, die mit ihrer positiven Einstellung und hohen Standards immer große Qualität abliefern. Die drei Studioalben, die EDEN’S CURSE seit 2007 über uns veröffentlicht haben, sind der beste Beweis dafür. Und nachlassen ist keine Option – ganz im Gegenteil. Aber auch abseits des Kreativen haben wir in EDEN’S CURSE verlässliche und hochprofessionelle Geschäftspartner gefunden. Daher freuen wir uns sehr, dass unser Vertrag mit der Band (der bisher für das Gebiet Europa galt) nun in einen weltweiten Deal erweitert wurde. Italian folk power metal masters ELVENKING have set September 14th for the release of their new album „Era“, which was recorded in Helsinki’s (Finland) Sonic Pump Studio with producer Nino Laurene. EDEN'S CURSE, the group which is currently nearing the final stages of the writing phase for its as-yet-untitled fourth album - the first to feature new vocalist Marco Sandron (PATHOSRAY, FAIRYLAND) at the microphone - couldn't hide its delight. "Signing a new deal with AFM was one of the easiest decisions we have made as band," quipped bassist Paul Logue. "AFM have been our long term partners since 2007 and have always done a great job for us. We recently sat down together and discussed our future plans and where we saw the band headed and they made it known that they are firmly behind us."
He added, "Consolidating everything under one roof, as opposed to having several separate deals, made great business sense to us and our management," Logue said. "I'm sure it means less paperwork for all involved! We will, however, still be working with our long-term Japanese partners, Spiritual Beast. Why fix what ain't broke?"
Regarding the progress of the songwriting sessions for the next album, Logue said, "It's going! We are really into the home straight of the writing phase now. We are taking our time to make sure we have the song ideas that does the EDEN'S CURSE name proud and exactly what our fan base would expect from us. We are very excited by the new tunes."
AFM Records states: "Working with EDEN'S CURSE always was a delight. These guys are really dedicated to what they do and their ambitions, positive attitude and high standards always result in great quality. Since signing with us in 2007, the band has released three fantastic albums. No signs of slowing down — in fact, it's quite the contrary. But also beside the creative part, we found reliable partners in EDEN'S CURSE. That's why we are very happy that the previous deal with the band (which was for the European territory only) now has become enhanced to a worldwide deal. We are looking forward to a great fourth album next year, and many more to come hopefully…"
EDEN'S CURSE's new album is tentatively scheduled for release in the spring of 2013.

Die blonde Düsseldorfer Rockröhre zieht von Erfolg zu Erfolg: nun ist DORO mit der soeben veröffentlichten Best Of-CD "Under My Skin - A Fine Selection Of Doro Classics" der Einsteig auf Platz 53 in den deutschen Albumcharts geglückt! "Under My Skin" wurde von AFM in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Doro Pesch zusammengestellt, die hierfür sogar extra handschriftliche Linernotes zu allen enthaltenen Songs beisteuerte. Die 2-CD erscheint als Digipak und enthält neben einem Hit-Querschnitt aus DOROs beeindruckender Solokarriere auch zahlreiche rare Songs, die als Bonustracks auf Singles oder Alben vielen Fans bisher noch nicht bekannt waren. "Under My Skin" ist auch als streng limitierte (auf nur 1000 Stück) Holz-Fanbox erhältlich, die neben der Digipak-2-CD eine Textil-Posterflagge, einen Doro Logo-Aufnäher, ein Doro-Armband, eine Postkarte und ein Echtheitszertifikat beinhaltet.

German Rock lady DORO is celebrating another success: her just released Best Of-CD "Under My Skin - A Fine Selection Of Doro Classics" has entered the official German album chart at #53! "Under My Skin" was compiled in close collaboration between AFM Records and Doro Pesch, who also contributed handwritten linernotes to all songs. The 2-CD of course includes many DORO classics, but in addition also lots of rare tracks from single "B-sides" and album bonus tracks that not every fan might know yet. "Under My Skin" is also available as strictly limited wooden fanbox edition (1000 copies only) which includes the Digipak-2-CD, a textile posterflag, a Doro logo patch, a Doro bracelet, a postcard and a certificate of authenticity.

HELSTAR geben Tracklist ihrer Jubiläums-DVD bekannt!
Am 31. August gilt es, „30 Years Of Hel“ zu feiern, und somit eine der wichtigsten und stilprägendsten Bands des U.S. Metals: HELSTAR!

HELSTAR announce tracklist of their anniversary DVD!
On August 31st, it will be time to celebrate „30 Years Of Hel“, and therefore one of the most important and unique bands in U.S. metal history: HELSTAR! „30 Years Of Hel“ includes the full 30th anniversary live show of the Texas-based cult band which was filmed in their hometown of Houston. Tracklists of DVD and 2-CD (“30 Years Of Hel” will be released as double package incl. both the DVD and 2-CD) have been announced now.

KRYPTOS unterschreiben bei AFM Records!

KRYPTOS signs with AFM Records!
They are the most popular metal band of India - adored pioneers of a music scene that is rising quickly now. Bevor die französischen Heavy Metal-Pioniere NIGHTMARE am Dienstag ihre „The Burden Of God“ Tour in Zottegem (Belgien) starten, wollen sich sie euch noch ihren brandneuen, soeben fertiggestellten Videoclip “Sunrise In Hell” vorstellen – und das schon diesen Sonntag. Der Clip wird im Laufe des Jahres auch noch in einer längeren Movie Clip-Version erscheinen. Das “Sunrise In Hell” Video wurde vom talentierten französischen Produzenten Stéphane Gilbart (Nightframe Media Visions) zusammengestellt, sowie produziert und editiert von Richard Conord (richardconordfilms.com). Der Hauptdarsteller des Video ist übrigens niemand Geringerer als der neue NIGHTMARE Gitarrist Matt Asselberghs. Neben ihm tauchen auch die beiden Models Sonia Zina und Lady Akasha als Gäste auf.

Die deutschen Melodic Metaller MOB RULES sind kurz vor Abschluss der Arbeiten für ihr neues (siebtes) Album, welches im Herbst erscheinen wird. Das gute Stück wird (ebenso wie ein gleichnamiger Song auf dem Album, welcher sich übrigens mit dem afrikanischen Menschenschlächter Jean-Bédel Bokassa beschäftigt) "Cannibal Nation" heißen.

AFM Records ehrt Udo Dirkschneider (U.D.O.) für sein Lebenswerk / Vertragsverlängerung mit dem Ausnahmekünstler / neue Live-DVD/BluRay erscheint Ende September!
Im Rahmen der großen Jubiläumsshow zum 25-jährigen Bandbestehen von U.D.O. erhielt Sänger Udo Dirkschneider (der im April 60 Jahre jung wurde) einen „Lifetime Achivement Award“ von seinem Plattenlabel AFM Records. Die Firma huldigt auf diese Weise ihrem hoch geschätzten Vertragskünstler, dessen wegweisende Veröffentlichungen Generationen folgender Musiker maßbegleichen beeinflussten. Unvergessen natürlich auch Udos Zeit mit Accept, die er nach Gründung als Frontmann zu internationalem Erfolg führte. Aber die Reise ist für den sympathischen Solinger und seine Band noch lange nicht zu Ende, denn nach dem stetig steigendem Erfolg in den letzten Jahren (das 2011 veröffentlichte aktuelle Album „Rev-Raptor“ sowie die dazu absolvierte Tour waren die erfolgreichsten der Bandgeschichte) haben U.D.O. und AFM Records soeben eine langfristige Vertragsverlängerung besiegelt.
Bereits für den 28. September ist mit „Live In Sofia“ eine Live-DVD von der „Rev-Raptor“ Tour angekündigt. Dieser Konzertmitschnitt wird ebenfalls im BluRay-Format erscheinen. Sowohl DVD als auch BluRay werden 2 CDs mit dem gesamten Konzert in Audio-Version beigelegt.
NIGHTMARE: „Sunrise In Hell“ Videoclip veröffentlicht!
Die französischen Heavy Metal-Pioniere NIGHTMARE haben mit “Sunrise In Hell” ihren neuen Videoclip veröffentlicht. Der Song stammt vom “The Burden Of God” Album, das seit Mai erhältlich ist.
AFM Records honors Udo Dirkschneider (U.D.O.) / contract extended / new Live DVD/BluRay to be released in late September!
At this year’s Wacken Open Air festival, German metal force U.D.O. was celebrating its 25th anniversary with an extensive live show. In addition vocalist Udo Dirkschneider (who became 60 years young this April) was honored with a “lifetime achievement award” by his label AFM Records, paying tribute to the man’s outstanding career, which, we all know, started with Dirkschneider founding and fronting Accept, the band he led to international stardom. Dirkschneider became one of the most popular and respected voices in metal ever, having a massive effect on following generations of musicians.
But the journey of the Solingen-born man and his band has not come to an end yet – his mission not accomplished at all! Quite the contrary: U.D.O.’s latest studio album “Rev-Raptor” (2011) and the tour played in support of this release, became the most successful ones in their history. So U.D.O. and AFM Records extended their long-term deal and look forward to continue on the path of recent years’ success.
On September 28th already the new DVD “Live In Sofia” will be released, which was filmed on the “Rev-Raptor” tour. This concert film will also be available in BluRay format. Both the DVD & BluRay will be accompanied by 2 CDs that includes the full concert as well.
French heavy metal pioneers NIGHTMARE have released the video clip for the song “Sunrise In Hell” (taken from the band’s latest album “The Burden Of God”, which was released in May).
