MOTÖRHEAD Shiraz Launched In Australia
According to Stereoboard.com,
have partnered with an Australian winery Distorted Beverages
in order to launch a branded red wine for their fans in Oz.
The Chief of Distorted Beverages said, “when the opportunity came
about to produce the most iconic of Australian wines, Shiraz; for the
band I jumped up and grabbed it. Without knowing exactly how I would
pull this small feat off, I set about contacting pretty much everyone I
knew in the wine industry and started a voyage of discovery.”
Shiraz remains unbeatable as the top-selling rock
wine. The heavy metal legends have sold more than 300,000 bottles of
their red wine.
“The wine reflects Motörhead’s spirit. Like the band, this wine is
rock hard on the outside, but dark and intriguing on the inside,” says

very fruity aroma with flavours of vanilla, blackberries, plums,
eucalyptus and liquorice. It is full-bodied with soft rounded tannins

says "approach it with caution. I mean, wine is deceptive, anything could happen."
Shiraz with dishes like grilled lamb chops with
garlic and rosemary. Also goes well with other lamb or beef dishes, as
well as pasta and flavoursome cheeses. Lemmy
adds that the optimum temperature is 16 - 18°C - fractionally cooler than most red wines.
