HAREM SCAREM - BACK, RECORDING AND ON TOUR!:

Time for an update on the activities of the legendary Harem Scarem and their Mood Swings Anniversary come back. Harem Scarem's Harry Hess commented earlier about the band's plans to first re-record the classic Mood Swings album. He stated: "A few people have asked me why we would re-record Mood Swings.
We don't own the masters to those recordings, we don't own anything
that we recorded while we were with Warner, the only way for us to have
ownership and control over those songs is to re-record them. That being
said, we also feel that the new recordings will sonically be much better
than the originals side by side. Also to add value to the release we
are recording 3 new bonus tracks as well as a DVD with recording footage
and interactive audio... This is a package (and tour) to celebrate the
20th year anniversary of the release not just another version of what is
already available." Harry added that the new tracks would be "...in the spirit of that time..."

An all new studio album is planned for 2014.

I'm pleased to announce more tour dates for the band. already announced is their appearance at Firefest in October and their first USA show in 20 years (and only their second ever!) at MelodicRockFest 3 (Chicago, September 27-29 / www.melodicrockfest.com).
Of the MRF3 appearance, guitarist Pete Lesperance has this to say earlier today: "I
can't tell you how excited we are to be back and playing at Melodic
Rock Fest 3 in Sept! Seems like to perfect gig to start the 2013 Mood
swings reunion tour! This time I promise we'll make sure our Visas are
in order and actually show up. Oops!"
